My Mom and I have been picking like crazy lately!!  She went to Asheville, NC to visit some family and came back with lots of treasures.  Here are some pics of what she snagged.  All of this hasn't made it to the booth yet but you are welcome to come to the house and shop!!

OK..I can't believe I found this old banana box.  I was on my way to an estate auction and happened upon this yard sale.  I saw this box covered up under a table and asked if it was for sale.  The answer was better than expected...They said yes and had another one if I was interested.  The price was crazy good and I couldn't believe my luck.

After getting the box-- guess what I see in the newest Flea Market Style magazine???  You guessed it..a banana box.  They had it at the foot of a bed with some quilts inside of it.

A Nice Surprise

Last weekend I had a really nice surprise to satisfy my "pickin" urge.  There was an estate sale in my neighborhood that I wasn't even going to bother going to because I can usually NEVER afford anything at these sales.  (Yes, I'm just that cheap!!)  Anyhoo,  it was literally right around the corner and I couldn't stand it.....and I'm so glad I went.  First of all, the house is one of those that I've admired from afar for years.  The house itself is beautiful but their yard was PERFECT!!  They had a potting shed out back and that was where I headed first.  Here are some of the pics of what I snagged.....

This little lovely was behind a door in the garage.  It had umbrellas, old tennis shoes, and junk stuffed in it.  I saw what the price tag said and snatched it up and walked around like I was stealing something.  I'm keeping it for a while just to look at it then I'm sure I'll take it to one of my booths. 

Hre's another find!!  It rolls perfectly and I forced myself to take it to my booth at Rockin B.  Of course, that's after I rolled it from room to room hoping I could find a place for it.

I had to post a pic of this stand....It sold the day I put it outside at The Design House but I just had to share.  The Little Boy Blue was another find.  I marked it right away and was going to take it to my booth but I decided...IT'S A KEEPER!!!  I'll let you know where I hang it later.

I got two of these planters.  I haven't cleaned them up yet but they're coming to a booth near you...HA!!

I didn't get this a the sale but wanted to get the pic out there.  This is a bed I just finished painting.  It's too cute and I'm only asking $100!!  This piece is at my house along with a massive amount of other things just waiting for a home.  Let me know if you'd like to come rummage through everything!!

Pics of the The Flea

Well...The Vintage Flea has changed names...it's now The Design House.  It's downtown Newnan a couple of stores down from the Post Office.  I wanted to post a couple of pics of my booth.  My Mom and I were in the middle of rearranging our booth when I got a call from my son.....he needed me to meet him and help pick out and of course pay for his tux to the prom.  I almost broke out in tears..I can't believe he's 17 and going to the jr/sr.  Anyhoo, we're not very happy with the way it looks right now but we'll go back this week sometime and finish.

LOVE this chair...it's a bluish gray and been distressed a bit.

This old pink iron bench is my new favorite for a while.  It's only $125!!

This chair is $250 and perfect!!!  BEAUTIFUL!!!

This is a pic of an old exam table I got at an auction a while back.  I haven't gotten it to my booth yet.  It could be repurposed to make something really cool.  Unfortunately, my husband is a physical therapist not a carpenter.

Here's another pic of it...I'm asking $100 which is a fabulous price for such a unique piece.

Here's a beautiful piece that I need out of my house.  I just redecorated and it doesn't fit anywhere...I need $325 for it.  The picture doesn't do it justice.
