ON A ROLL.....

My Mom and I have been picking like crazy lately!!  She went to Asheville, NC to visit some family and came back with lots of treasures.  Here are some pics of what she snagged.  All of this hasn't made it to the booth yet but you are welcome to come to the house and shop!!
I know it's hard to see with my CRAPPY camera but this is too cute!!
A little better...
Much better...$15
MY FAVORITE!!!  Four tangerine colored old suitcases...Holy cow do I love these...
GREAT COLOR!!  $85 for all four
This is pretty beat up but still cool..Fun for the garden or wherever???$  $40
A closer look but love the big sign 359..I think it might be a keeper.
OK..I can't believe I found this old banana box.  I was on my way to an estate auction and happened upon this yard sale.  I saw this box covered up under a table and asked if it was for sale.  The answer was better than expected...They said yes and had another one if I was interested.  The price was crazy good and I couldn't believe my luck.
After getting the box-- guess what I see in the newest Flea Market Style magazine???  You guessed it..a banana box.  They had it at the foot of a bed with some quilts inside of it.
LOVE...LOVE...LOVE... $48
Alright, this is totally not my style but it was sooo cool and I know some horse lover will love it!!
$55
This is a fountian...water should come out of the hole at the top but I don't have the pump or motor thingie.  I love it without it but anyhoo...it's  $65
GREAT OLD CART!!!  $150
Until next time...Come to Rockin B or Design House and check out my booth.  Or just come to my house and shop....I'm ready to clear out and have someone start enjoying all these finds.

A Nice Surprise

Last weekend I had a really nice surprise to satisfy my "pickin" urge.  There was an estate sale in my neighborhood that I wasn't even going to bother going to because I can usually NEVER afford anything at these sales.  (Yes, I'm just that cheap!!)  Anyhoo,  it was literally right around the corner and I couldn't stand it.....and I'm so glad I went.  First of all, the house is one of those that I've admired from afar for years.  The house itself is beautiful but their yard was PERFECT!!  They had a potting shed out back and that was where I headed first.  Here are some of the pics of what I snagged.....
This little lovely was behind a door in the garage.  It had umbrellas, old tennis shoes, and junk stuffed in it.  I saw what the price tag said and snatched it up and walked around like I was stealing something.  I'm keeping it for a while just to look at it then I'm sure I'll take it to one of my booths.
Hre's another find!!  It rolls perfectly and I forced myself to take it to my booth at Rockin B.  Of course, that's after I rolled it from room to room hoping I could find a place for it.
I had to post a pic of this stand....It sold the day I put it outside at The Design House but I just had to share.  The Little Boy Blue was another find.  I marked it right away and was going to take it to my booth but I decided...IT'S A KEEPER!!!  I'll let you know where I hang it later.
Old thermometer with great advertising....LOVE IT!!
Great plant stand..it's that old wicker which I LOVE!!
Here's a pic of the inside..I'll bring it up to a booth after I get finished looking looking at it.  I love to admire my stuff for a while before I say good bye.
This has already sold but I had to post a pic of this beauty.  It didn't even make it up the stairs at The Design House.
Great glass top table...The bottom of it is lovely.  I haven't decided if I'm going to point it or not.
Here's the bottom of it...
I got two of these planters.  I haven't cleaned them up yet but they're coming to a booth near you...HA!!
I didn't get this a the sale but wanted to get the pic out there.  This is a bed I just finished painting.  It's too cute and I'm only asking $100!!  This piece is at my house along with a massive amount of other things just waiting for a home.  Let me know if you'd like to come rummage through everything!!

Pics of the The Flea

Well...The Vintage Flea has changed names...it's now The Design House.  It's downtown Newnan a couple of stores down from the Post Office.  I wanted to post a couple of pics of my booth.  My Mom and I were in the middle of rearranging our booth when I got a call from my son.....he needed me to meet him and help pick out and of course pay for his tux to the prom.  I almost broke out in tears..I can't believe he's 17 and going to the jr/sr.  Anyhoo, we're not very happy with the way it looks right now but we'll go back this week sometime and finish.
LOVE this chair...it's a bluish gray and been distressed a bit.
This old pink iron bench is my new favorite for a while.  It's only $125!!
This chair is $250 and perfect!!!  BEAUTIFUL!!!
Shabby table and chair....Love the gold lady on the table too.
What a cute table and two chairs...SUPER PRICE!!
Here's a pic of my other baby...Becca.  She's 13 and the boss of the house.
This is a pic of an old exam table I got at an auction a while back.  I haven't gotten it to my booth yet.  It could be repurposed to make something really cool.  Unfortunately, my husband is a physical therapist not a carpenter.
Here's another pic of it...I'm asking $100 which is a fabulous price for such a unique piece.
Here's a beautiful piece that I need out of my house.  I just redecorated and it doesn't fit anywhere...I need $325 for it.  The picture doesn't do it justice.
Here's another pic. It really is an expensive piece and SUPER heavy.  Let me kow if you're interested..
Here's a couple of pics of an old cot I got at an estate sale.  It would be too cute on a porch on in a garden with vines all over it.  It's at my house as well...Let me now if you want to come take a look...I have TONS of other things to look over....everythings for sale!! (except my dogs)
